I've hired Alisa as a makeup artist for multiple boudoir marathon events that I have hosted and I have loved the results. Not only is she great to work with for me, but she really listens to what my clients want and help them create a look that they can be sexy and confidant in for their shoot. Even though I usually hire her for makeup, she always brings her hair stuff too and is always down to help the girls with their hair if there is time as well. Usually with the marathon events we have a limited time allowed for makeup and Alisa always makes it work in the time allotted which means a lot when working with tight time schedules.
She always brings more to the shoot than expected with her talent and demeanor and I have always been stoked with the look she creates. A+++++++++++: Seriously, love her. She came to us, did 5 (non makeup-wearing, sometimes whineyish) ladies hair and makeup in 4 hours. She was completely prepared and right on time. She brought a make-up assistant but did all the hair on her own. She listened to what we wanted, but knew what was and wasn't possible with our hair so modified as needed, As for make-up, she definitely brought out the best in all of our features-highlighted what needed highlighting, and hid the not so awesome parts. She is extremely talented and did an AMAZING job.

I’m not a big hair/make up person, and Alisa knew that from the start. In fact, none of the girls in the Bridal party (including Mom) are. Alisa did such a good job of listening to what we wanted and she and her assistant did exactly that! We all looked and felt beautiful and got many compliments on our hair and make up. Not only was she awesome with our hair and makeup, having such a great personality and adding to the positive energy of the group, but her photography background really helped out as well. As soon as we arrived at the venue she got us organized and into getting ready mode so we’d be as on schedule as possible for our photographers. Wherever Alisa could help out, she did – including sprucing up one of our flower girl’s hair (and helping to calm her down when she wasn’t so sure about the curling iron!) The only regret I have about Alisa is that I didn’t have an Alisa clone to have up with the boys to have them ready and on time in perfect form like she had all of the girls. -Liz Miller
